Here is the fall 2021 post. Let's begin!
| The person who wields the screen holds all the power. |
| These frogs are so adorable. They are outgoing and always hungry. |
| Holding their secret meeting. |
| Noah with this year's harvest. |
| He was just so cute, what happened to my baby? |
| Eden's bangs started growing and reached an adorable length! |
| Now look how cute she is! |
| Elijah working on his "Star of the Week" poster. |
Look at this Stake Center. It was designed by the local members! Look at that stain glass. |
| This chapel does not fit the cookie cutter chapels and it's so pretty! |
| This is where all the baptisms occur for our ward. |
| We found this beauty one morning while waiting to go into the school. |
I'll let Sam tell you about the next few photos because it was such a cool experience:
Thanks Kiley for updating our blog! It's been a while, but early during my first year of fellowship my program director (Dr. Schwartz) let me know that he had two Lakers tickets - they were playing against the Cleveland Cavaliers - and he wanted to give them to me. It was a school day (and work day), so at first I wasn't sure about it, but I quickly decided that this would likely be a once-in-a-lifetime experience for me and one of my children. After I got home from work, we quickly decided that Elijah would most likely enjoy this experience, so we turned it into a daddy-son date!
| Here's a view of the court from our seats - we were as close as you could possibly be before getting to all the sports network people and court-side seats! |
| Elijah loved it. He kept cheering, "Go Lakers! Go Lakers!" |
| Had to get some shots of LeBron James. He was definitely the star of their team. |
Thank you Dr. Schwartz for this unforgettable experience! We had a blast watching the game, buying overpriced food, and looking at the merchandise. When the Lakers got to 100 points, I told Elijah, "Yay, they won!" We quickly headed out before the rest of the crowd so we could beat the traffic to get home. Eventually, Elijah got a Lakers shirt and ball for Christmas (that ball eventually became one of Noah's favorite toys).
(Okay, back to Kiley)
Next up Halloween!
