Last post for 2022! I think Christmas is always the perfect ending for an entire year and I'm grateful I got to spend it with these lovelies. When we got home from SeaWorld we had to open our Christmas PJs before going to bed. It's always been a favorite tradition of mine since I was a kid. I don't know if my kids feel the same but I started adding a book to make it more fun.
Flying Past Bedtime!
Eden's absolute favorite book. She sure loves dragons, but maybe not tacos.
Eli got the next few installments of Steve the Noob.
Snakes for Joseph!
For Christmas morning we took a lot of videos...and almost no pictures. So I did my best to screenshot the best moments. Sorry they aren't the best quality!

Ready to see what they got from Santa!
| Eden's Santa gift, Guinea Pig mama and babies. |
| Lego Hidden Side School! You can tell how Eli feels about this one. |
| Joseph looking at his new fish tank. |
| Noah enjoyed the candy from his stocking. |
| Noah got a new trampoline to learn how to jump! |
| A Mario Kart track just for our baby Luigi. |
| Eden's Care Bear collection she was dying to have. |
| Lego Luigi time. |
| Noah was getting good at opening presents at the end. |
| Probably the coolest build Eli got: a Gyarados! |
She got the dinosaur she wanted! Sadly it wasn't what she pictured and was pretty sad after a while. |
| But she did get a bunkbed for her Little Critters. |
| Lego Pirate Ship! |
Bluey!

We had a pretty quiet Christmas, finishing the day with playing with our new toys, eating a ribeye roast, and watching It's a Wonderful Life. The next day Sam took Joseph to Petco to pick out his favorite type of betta fish: a tangerine koi. And Joseph did an amazing job picking one out! I picked one out earlier because sometimes they can be hard to come by and I wanted to have one in the tank by Christmas. Sadly the one I picked out was in the cold garage and even with the tank heater I think it was too much of a shock. The fish wouldn't eat and was super skittish. He died before Christmas so I decided Joseph should pick out his own fish anyway. So meet Tang! He is super social for a fish and highly food motivated. He seems much happier than the last fish. You won't see it in any of the photos but it looks like he has a curly mustache on his left side. It's so stinking cute! Joseph has done a great job feeding his fish in the morning and I take care of the cleaning and upkeep and feed him the second part of the day. Eventually, I want to hand it off completely to Joseph but I do like interacting with him.

Happy 2023 everybody!
