Early 2022!

I'm going to push three months into one post, so this is for you! I'll write what's happening as we look at the pictures.

Eli gathering all the couch cushions and outdoor cushions to make a tower.

Sam was wanting a project and boy did I have one for him. He made me outdoor furniture!

Finished result!

Yep, we love it.

Eli started Martial Arts January of 2021. Eden wanted to join but she was too young.

Best part is that they have it at the park a couple days a week
and it's perfect for the kids to play while he does this.

He worked hard the first few months and learned a lot of the moves.

His first test, he earned his white belt!

Eden became quite the photographer when she took this candid photo with this filter.

She is also quite the artist - this is her rendition of Joseph.

The frogs practicing their pyramid formation.

When the kids actually get along!

Eden being silly and I joined her.

One of the few moments Eden got along with Noah.

Playing while Eli does Martial Arts.

Caught this on the walk to school.

Kids crawling into bed one early morning.

Joseph started Activity Boys at church. The leader brought buckets of Legos
and let them have at it to keep.

Joseph loved axolotls for quite a while. This picture was taken for him.

Cupcakes for Noah's 1st birthday and my 30th.

Our "Appa" cupcakes.

My inspiration!

You can tell Noah loved that cupcake!

I really wanted to go Whale watching, so I purchased tickets and we drove down to Dana Point. Eden had an accident right away, and I forgot to bring my jacket and get dramamine for myself, so it wasn't the most fun. That and we didn't see any whales. I did however see a sunfish under the water. I didn't know what it was until one of the tour guides told me what it was. At least we got whale check tickets to come back another time. I decided to wait until 2023 at a better time to catch some whales.

Eden wearing her jacket as a skirt since we forgot extra clothes...

We enjoyed the views regardless.

Sam and I wanted to see the LA Philharmonic, and we saw that Hillary Hahn was playing. Hillary Hahn is one of the best violinists in the world, and we weren't sure whether we'd have this opportunity again. We paid for a babysitter ($$) and had a date. We went to the Walt Disney Concert Hall, which was gorgeous, and excitedly waited for Hillary's arrival. She played Samuel Barber's Violin Concerto and wowed us with her music. We had never heard someone play so clean and clear! She was made to play the violin. After her performance (and an encore of Bach), the LA Phil played one of Dvorak's symphonies. It was a magical night. Thank you Sam for taking me for my birthday!

Look at this beautiful concert hall!

Snuck a picture of Hillary in her fancy dress

Wow, blogged 3 months in one post (Jan-Mar 2022)! Here's to almost catching up to the present.
