San Diego Zoo

I thought we were into October, but forgot that we totally went to the San Diego Zoo labor day weekend. We've been to this zoo back when Joseph was a year old so it was very different this time. This zoo has always amazed me, and this time was no different. Here are the pictures from the trip.

Look at that map!

That face <3

The zoo is so big and fancy, they have
double decker buses to take you on a tour.
They also have a sky ride to take you across the zoo.

Hanging with the oragutan.

The coolest looking antelope things.

At the polar bears!

Here's Elijah.

Seven years prior at the same spot!

Now for the actual polar bear!

Look how cool this snake is!

Something to note: last time we were at this zoo there was a good section dedicated to the pandas. Panda street names, panda restaurants, etc. The old zoo logo even had a panda in it. Well, turns out the pandas were only loaned to the San Diego zoo and were returned to China only a few years ago. What did they decide to do with all their panda memorabilia? They turned it into the red panda exhibit, of course! I found it funny, but these pandas are actually stinkin' adorable. I think they are one of my favorite animals now!

The best photo we got, sadly.

Penguins in Cali?

Not sure, but a crocodile?

We found Emily! (We used to have a green anole named Emily, had to let her go)

Last but not least, the jaguar!

It was a tiring day at the end with having all the kids, but they got to pick out a souvenir. We almost went to the Safari Park at the end of 2022, but decided not to. Oh well!
