10 Months

ELIJAH AT 10 MONTHS

We are two months away from Eli's first birthday and wow. He has been the perfect addition to our family and I'm so grateful for his smiles and love. We couldn't get a good picture of him in his 10 month photo shoot. This kid won't sit still! He has started to get more brave and let go only to stand for 2 or 3 seconds then sit down. Sam also says he tried to take a step during church during one of those times. It might still take another couple of months to get it down but the desire makes a big difference.

He likes table food and sweets (it's almost impossible to hold off!) but even then he has started to turn his head away from foods before he has even tried them. So mama's milk it is. Both our boys are hard to feed at times (Sam takes over at meal time to ensure they get something, thanks!). Eli loves Joey even though they can annoy each other and will still follow him around. However, this kid bites. Hard. I don't know if he's doing it for fun or is teething but Eli chomps on shoulders if you are holding him or knees if you are sitting near him. Still trying to figure out how to ensure the habit doesn't continue.

This month we tried to get him to get him to wave or learn words, but he hasn't caught on yet. That's okay, each child is different. He will figure it out! Meanwhile I will enjoy whatever is left of his babyhood.
